• Songs went well
• Over half the team was late for morning rehearsal…. not good guys!
• Glad to have Jamie back singing with us, after a month vacation!
• We were short a singer, Emma was out of town.
• Attendance was up!! Woo Hoo!!
• Good Service!!

Subway

I went to Subway for lunch yesterday (as usual) and ran into Lindell Cooley.  I was like WHAT?  that can’t be him in Warrior, AL….. But it was… we got to talk for a few minutes and of course I had to ask him What in the world brought him to Warrior, AL?  He said they were headed to Daphne, AL for a service…. 

Some of you that read this may not have a clue of who Lindell is…. he was the worship pastor @ the Brownsville revival in Florida and is also a great song writer and now a pastor…. (Grace Church Nashville) 

Just thought that was pretty cool….. You don’t see people like this in Warrior!!

• Overtaken started out really slow but we pulled it together as we got into it
• From the Inside Out went well, our people really love this song…
• I didn’t really feel good
• Attendance was really down, I guess everyone is taking that last vacation before school starts

Sunday Recap

Sorry this is a little late, haven’t been feeling well!!

• Ohio Avenue did a great job!
• Didn’t go to RedStone Church because I really felt like that I should stay and support the guys!
• Finished up One Prayer series with Ed Young’s message on “Wake Us Up” (Great Message)
• We played the sermon from the DVD player this time but it kept skipping!! (turned out OK though)

That’s it for now, feel like I have to throw up!!!

Ohio Avenue

Ohio Avenue will be filling in for me tomorrow morning (July 13, 2008). Blake and I, along with some other guys, will be attending a North Point Strategic Partner called “RedStone Church“.  

Looking forward to the guys leading our people in worship!!!

Fellowship Church

 

Pace is the Worship Pastor @ Fellowship Church in Grapevine, TX. (Ed Young’s Church).  I was able to catch a service @ Fellowship last Sunday and got to meet up with Pace.  I have been wanting to attend a service there for quite some time now and I finally got to do it.  It was everything I thought it would be and then some….

As I said earlier, I got to hook up with Pace while I was there and WOW!! was I blown away with his hospitality……  I had a front row seat reserved for me and got to hang out back stage some after service!!!

Thanks dude for treating me so nice!!!  I look forward to hooking up again in the future.

Back Home

We are back home now….. we got home last night (July 4th) around 11:00 p.m.  

WOW! what a busy week! I promise updates are coming, just got to get back in the swing of things.
